Dr. Loïc Legendre has been providing veterinary dental care in the Lower Mainland since 1995. After practising as a small animal veterinarian, Dr. Legendre started to specialize. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry and a specialist of the American Veterinary Dental College and of the European Veterinary Dental College. In addition to daily practice, he enjoys teaching at international conferences. His areas of interest are orthodontics, maxillofacial reconstructive surgery and cancer treatments.
Dr. Angelica (Angie) Bebel began her veterinary career as a Registered Animal Health Technician. After 6 years, Dr. Bebel made the decision to expand her veterinary knowledge and attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine program, graduating with distinction in 2014. She joined the West Coast Veterinary Dental Services team in 2015 and became a Board certified specialist in 2018. When not at work Angie enjoys time with her two and four-legged family members.
Gerad was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. As far as he can remember, he always wanted to be a veterinarian. In 2011, that dream became a reality after graduating from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. He entered practice as a mixed animal practitioner, working with cats, dogs, horses, cows, and the occasional goat, sheep, or alpaca. Within a few years, he found himself drawn towards small animal dentistry and before long, he was providing dentistry services to cats and dogs in the Regina area. In 2019, Dr. Cantin began the journey of becoming a Board-Certified Veterinary DentistTM after accepting a veterinary dental residency position in San Diego, California under his mentor Dr. Glenn Brigden. After successful completion of the 3-year residency, he and his family have returned to Canada and made Vancouver their new home. Dr. Cantin has successfully completed phase I of the American Veterinary Dental College board examinations and is gearing up to challenge phase II of the board examinations this summer. In his spare time, Dr. Cantin enjoys traveling, camping (the rougher, the better), running trails, spending time with his wife and two rambunctious boys, and cheering on his beloved Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Olivia originally grew up in southern Ontario, riding and working with show horses as well as working in local small animal veterinary hospitals prior moving to Scotland to complete vet school at the University of Edinburgh. She worked in emergency and general practice, turning to focus on dentistry for a few years in London, England before returning home to Canada to complete a rotating internship in Medicine & Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan’s Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Then she moved out to beautiful British Columbia and began formal residency training at WCVDS, and completed her residency training in December 2023, and is now awaiting examinations to become a board-certified Veterinary Dentist.
Whilst she enjoys all aspects of veterinary dentistry, her specific interests include endodontics, prosthodontics, fracture fixation, and especially treating working canines.
When not at the clinic, she is almost certainly off camping and adventuring out in the BC waters paddling, kayaking or skiing (and cross country skijoring) with her canine co-pilot, Moose, the Hungarian Vizsla.
